Nanny's Noro Tam

Here are the pictures of my Nanny wearing the Noro Silk Garden Tam. I finished it Saturday. I think it turned out very well and looks super cute on Nanny. I knit the crown in a right slanting swirl pattern by using a k2 tog decrease. An ssk decrease would have resulted in a left slanting swirl. I didn't put elastic in the head band, but I'm thinking about it.

Lovely hat! But Nanny doesn't look very happy in the left-hand photo. Or maybe it's the "I'm just doing this to humor you" look.

Oh, what a beautiful hat, and Nanny looks so fantastic with it! But she obviously doesn't like to be photographed, does she? Aw, I can relate to that, I don't like it either! But hey, great job on the Noro Tam!
