Hi...My name is Angela and I am a knitter. Welcome! I lost my job recently so I have had plenty of extra time to knit; plenty, that is, by comparison to the time I used to have for knitting. I have completed 8 projects over the last month! I will download picks soon so you can see my work. I am proud of each one, even though none of them are 'perfect'. To me, that does not matter. I am having loads of fun and have learned some interesting techniques and basic skills that have increased my self-confidence as a knitter. I had a great knitter's christmas! I received two knitting DVD's, The Art of Knitting and The Art of Knitting and Crochet 2. Both are great! I also received a needle case, a Fiskars Project case, and a $25 B and N gift card with which I bought the Stitch 'N Bitch Knitter's Design Journal. I also knitted a gorgeous scarf for my sister in Lion Brand's Fancy Fur and Fun Fur in Royal Blue. The scarf came out lovely and looks great on her...very satisfying!
