Isn't this little guy so cute? We visited Dunn, NC the other day, to put flowers on my Brother's grave. Many of my family members are buried there.  A couple of my Aunts and various cousins still live there, so we stopped to visit my Aunt Jackie on our way home.  I saw this in her bathroom and just had to snap a picture.  It is a toilet paper roll cover. One of my daughter's closest friends from High School is expecting a baby boy soon.  I have worked up a little cable hat for the cherub.  I wanted something that Mom, Jess, could use at anytime that would also be soft and keep baby Noah warm. So I used a soft, chunky yarn in a neutral color.  The little hat worked up in no time, too.  It is worked on two needles and is seamed at the back.

This particular pattern book is from 1943.  The Teacup Potholder was meant to be crocheted in J&amp;P Coats Crochet Cord, but I adapted it to work in Peaches and Cream Ombres with an H-hook. This is Nancy's bag in Lamb's Pride Bulky,wool and mohair, color: victorian pink.This one is also Lamb's Pride Bulky, but the color is 'Aubergine' and was a lovely shade of a deep purple.This is Susan's Bag.
